The Mooncricket Shines Tonight

Beto is an independent film maker currently based out of Oakland, California. I say “based out of” because Beto really took advantage of his Ford Fiesta and traveled far beyond the confines of California. He visited locations all over the United States and captured amazing photos and videos at the same time. In fact, he is so in tune with his art, and genuinely passionate about cataloging his experiences, that he spent most of the celebration behind his camera.

It was this great passion, and his awesome attention to detail and composition that earned him the award for best body of work in photography. Beto got to take home a bright green Fiesta mirror trophy (just like the one on his Cricket-mobile) to commemorate his filming and photographic prowess.

The recognition he has received through the Ford Fiesta Movement has demonstrated that his experience as a film maker can be applied towards more commercial projects. We have no doubt that all of Beto’s hard work will pay off in the very near future.
