AutoBlog.com
Autoblog.com is a member of AOL's Weblogs Inc. Networks (WIN) and this association has paved the way for a comprehensive site that states: "We obsessively cover the auto industry." When they say their coverage is obsessive, they mean it.
AutoBlog.com has an interesting strategy for accomplishing this intense level of coverage. Rather than jumbling all of their content in various categories all over the site, their articles are sorted into four easy-to-understand sections: Reviews, AutoShows, Green, and AutoBlog Sites. This review will highlight the best of these four sections.
Reviews
Within the reviews tab, you can choose to view not only reviews, but test drives as well. You can expect that once you click on any article of interest, you will have more than enough detail to make up your decision. Once inside the reviews section, you can also choose to sort by Make/Model or Type/Style. This is a great tool to have if you know exactly which car you're researching.
AutoShows
We here at AutosAhora love auto shows (then again what auto enthusiast doesn't?). Similar to their Reviews section, AutoBlog.com provides an AutoShow section that is easy to navigate and runs the gamut in terms of coverage. We also really appreciate that each article has an embedded image gallery. Let's face it, even if we can't own all of the newest cars out there, we sure spend a lot of time admiring them and wishing they'll be ours some day.
Green
Green automotive technology has taken a little while to take hold in the U.S. Now that it has finally started to become more popular more and more auto sites are covering the latest developments. Unlike other sites, AutoBlog.com devotes a whole section to just this topic. What's more, they cover anything and everything having to do with green technology. This the perfect reading material for the inner engineer in you.
AutoBlog Sites
As a bi-lingual site ourselves, we get super psyched when we see more automotive offerings in several languages. AutoBlog.com also has AutoBlog en Español based out of Spain, as well as AutoBlog sites for the U.K., in French, Dutch, Chinese and Japanese.
